DirecTV: What Channels?

I got a TV and satellite for the games and currently have the Choice Ultimate package and was wondering if I needed to pick up any other packages to guarantee to get the most games possible. I am looking for all sports, football, basketball, etc.

You will want to add the sports pack that has Fox Sports net. Iowa State already has 2 football games scheduled to be on FSN.

Also, the sports pack is $12.99 a month. Back in the early 2000's the same sports pack was $3.99!

You should already get Fox Sports Net Midwest and Comcast Chicago, but if you want to make sure to get some of the odd-ball ACC or Pac-10 games that are not carried nationally but just on the coastal sports networks, the sports package would be good. Also am thinking Fox College Sports has to have a sports pack sub to view any games on there.

This. Usually all ISU FSN games are picked up on FSN Midwest but in my neck of the woods we have FSN North that doesn't always have ISU football games.

I am pretty sure, as mentioned, that I have FSN and Comcast Chicago. Last night I watched the White Sox/Yankees game and I believe it was on the Comcast Channel. I won't be missing a home game, due to season tickets, but want to make sure I can record them and also get the away games.
