I ran into several Missouri fans at both Kelly's and Power & Light. Each one made it a point to tell me how few people came out to the tournament. One, a friend of mine, went so far as to say it was "dead". The news about record crowds brought a smile to my face.

I am cheering so hard for Larry's revenge game against them. While throwing back a Diet Coke and wearing a mock turtleneck.

Had some disgust with the SEC chant but our recent experience with those smug KU fans has given me some sympathy for their plight. That being said, hoping Larry gets his revenge.

I've never understood the hate from some people (non ISU fans btw) for keeping the Big 12 tournament in KC.

The Pac-12 had their tournament in Vegas. I love having it in KC. Mizzoo-rah can go jerk off to the stars and bars flag with the rest of their SEC brethren. **** em

I have no problem with Mizzou fans. Hating people based on what school they attended/cheer for is ridiculous.

If I can't hate people for what team they cheer for, what can I hate them for? Lawsuits have taken away all the good prejudgices (gender, race, religion, sexual preference, height, weight, etc) :realmad:

I've only read the first two pages... but wow... surprised by the responses from my fellow Cyclones to a relatively nice post from an outsider. Typically I like to think of us as one of the nicest fan bases... I understand the frustration with Missouri, but if we're the only fan-base that was rude to them face to face and continue to support the OP's observation with our responses, I guess maybe we're not so nice.

As our sports teams get better, we react more like other successful teams and their fan bases. It is the nature.
