We gave 4RAHRAH. Our daughter started calling ISU "rah rah" since she could talk in reference to the fight song.

I ALMOST had WINNING, but my wife thought it was too Charlie Scheen....I thought it was cool...then someone snatched them by the time I got a different vehicle.

We were just like a previous poster, when we moved back from Nebraska, I couldn't wait to get ISU plates. I'm awful at coming up with plate ideas, so I have to credit the wife. WIN4ST8. It's part of our last name, there are 4 of us in the family, and we are all Cyclone fans.

We drive a red Saturn Vue. Not sure if many people here in Big 10 country even have a clue, but we do have an Iowa State Cyclones license plate holder, and small cyclone decal on the back window. Actually, I get a lot of, "So, I figure the 'cyd' part has something to do with your cyclones, but what's with the 'vue' spelling?" Doh.

I've always wanted to get an '84 Pontiac Trans Am, like the one in Knight Rider, with the vanity plate ISUKITT.

My husband was so happy when we moved to Iowa from Nebraska because we could finally get ISU plates. My husband is a band alum so we have CFVMB97. ('97 being the last year he was in marching band)

Funny...Saturday we parked nose-to-nose with the plate CYKOSIS. Truck in the row across from us was 5GR8YRS. At the Tulsa game, I saw a Hawkeye plate with ISUNI on it. I was very confused by that plate.

I meet CYKOSIS on the road all the time. Mine are just numbers though. Wasn't creative enough to think of anything else. :jimlad:

My parents were going to get me "RING4CY" ISU vanity plates for Christmas for my new car.

The only problem is someone already took it.

Someone took my Christmas present from me.

Always happy to see Clone plates...even though someone who must live around me has ISUX5 which probably means 5 ISU fans in the fam...but reads like "I sucks..."

I'll keep an eye out for it. If I see it around I shall let you know.

ISUX5 could have a double meaning:

5 ISU fans

and/or

I (owa) Sucks

Nicely played!

Everytime I think about getting them, something really humiliating happens. Like a 71-7 loss or loss to an FCS team. And then I think,"Wow, if I get these plates I can't take them on and off like my hat."
