i agree with the OP. lucious makes alot of bad decisions. clyburn takes too many bad shots. i have seen way too much of this one shot and done crap this year. alot of times we dont seem to look for a good shot and someone just heaves one up from 3 when the inside guys are in no position to get a board

I agree with the OP, idk how you can't. KL plays about 1 defensive possession every 5 tries and so does WC. I will be ecstatic when this senior class, other than McGee and Babb, are gone. ISU cheers for effort, these two do not deserve to be cheered other than the 5 times they play defense in a game. If you are going to be lazy and not give it your all then go sit on the bench and put in the walk-ons. Idc if starters have more talent if they are not trying. This was the worst performance I have ever seen out of an ISU bball team and it is a complete shame.

Agree completely. I won't miss Lucious or Clyburn next year, and I really thought I was going to. I'd much rather see what Monte Morris and Matt Thomas can bring. They at least look like guys that will bring you great effort all the time.

And I hate how people always bring up stats to try to show that these guys are playing well. Stats are just numbers folks. Watch these guys play. It's painful to watch. More than half the time they don't care what's going on out there.

But why should they care? Fred won't do anything to them. Heck, Fred looks just like they do most of the time.

In the OP's defense, I've never been a Lucious fan, either. Not a good shooter, careless with the ball, below-average defender. He's an extremely poor man's Allen Iverson, pure volume scorer who needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

I didn't see tonight's game, but looking at the stats, it was a pretty typical night out for Lucious. 11 points, yes. But on 4-11 shooting, with 2 assists and 4 TO.

That's who he was in East Lansing, and that's who he is now. He's got talent, and he will always show flashes; just enough to keep people hooked on him. But he's never been able to find consistency in his game.

I don't post often but i can't take watching them anymore. Lucious is so careless with the ball especially for a 5 th year senior. Drives me nuts

Clyburn always has that I don't care look on his face. He also shoots 3s with ppl in his face. And drives to the hoop thinking he can jump through or over everyone which he can't

McGee needs more minutes

You don't post often for a reason. Stick to that.

He's not even a Cyclone and he's tired of this ******** thread. You should be ashamed.

I wish booker would just go home, I'm tired of watching his body language on the bench. Korie is supposed to be the leader of the team, I think he is more worried about looking cool.

He had 2 assists because no one could hit the frigging side of a barn.

Looks like Lucious and Clyburn are ready to take on the fans via Twitter. Smart move.
No kidding:

Crazy how some people call themselves TRUE fans, but as soon as somethin go wrong they have nothin but negative things 2 say!!#KickRocks

Hey lucious, fans can accept an effort filled loss (see: KU game).. Fans dont accept an effortless garbage performance.

Like I said, I didn't see the game. But 4 TO is still not a good number, and his A/TO for the year isn't real good, even though his assist numbers are solid.

Fans should not call out players, that is the coaches job to get on their *****. Some people just don't know where the line is.

Good thing he only had 3 turnovers than. I mean short of walking the ball and handing it to Booker that number would have been 2.

Nothing like "I didn't watch the game but here are my thoughts" guy. Everyone played like **** tonight.

As far as I can tell the one and only thing that the Lucious-Clyburn combo care about is...THEMSELVES!!!!
McGee needs more minutes
