Does saturday affect our attendance the rest of the year?

The fact that Paul can pull a rabbit out of his hat at any given moment will keep people in the stands. Look at last year. Things weren't looking to good and then ISU knocks off the #2 team in the nation. People will come just in hope of being there when the next big one happens.

Well said. Fans aren't just coming because of the record. This is a different type of team. I think they will still come to the games.

P.S. My boss said to me as I left for the Oklahoma State game, "Why bother, you are just going to get beat by 100!" . . . I replied, "Because you can't be there when we win the big game if you don't go!" . . . I was there and he was disappointed that he wasn't. I will be there for every win because I will be there for every game!

If I were a Cyclone fan I'd stop going. You guys played your "superbowl" against us, with a crazy loud crowd and we won with ease.

Nice job Rectum. Boy you showed them. And, no, you didn't win with ease. But, nice game, the Red Raiders played well. But at the end of the day, your team still has to go back to Lubbock. Eww.

Next step forward?

Thats funny because I've been waiting for the next step forward or going to the next level for the last 50 years and I see no evidence its going to happen this year.

Good Luck My Clones because we're gonna need it......

Hope not, yeah we sucked it up offensively saturday, but a lot of teams do the same thing once in a while. Look at Oklahoma losing to Kstate I bet they still sell out the rest of the way. I am praying we do not see that **** again though. Anyway I do not think so, we can rebound.

Attendance looks great for the rest of the year.

Looking at in-stadium attendance (not counting hillside because we cant see counts on cyclones.com). For baylor\ou\wvu there may be tickets still being withheld, but fwiw:

Kansas state has <100 single tickets listed on cyclones.com (nothing in pairs or more) inside the stadium... all else remaining is hillside.
Baylor is homecoming so tickets will sell well for that one. Ticket sales almost a month out for that game look ahead of what we saw for Tech week of.
OU looks very well sold.
WV has a bunch of open seats, but its 2 months away.... for a late november game its attendance will be better than some years. What happens between now and then will of course affect that (more than the other remaining games with so many seats still open).

So basically, with the stadium reserved seating looking to be fairly well sold for all remaining games, the biggest factor will be hillside attendance. That will likely fall a little bit every week as things get colder and people don't want to sit on a hillside, and will depend on how we are performing the rest of the season.
