This scout team probably is one of the main reasons we are preparing so well for these games. They are playing a scout team that will probably be in the NCAA tourny next year.

Agreed.

I love the energy they even show in the stands during the game...they are up yelling and everything...

Love seeing how involved the inactive players were during the game. When Ejim had a dunk in front of them and pointed to them that was great to see. Anyone know why Allen and Booker where in the huddle during the game while Royce and company remained in the crowd? This team is playing together and with a ton of energy hopefully this can continue.

Honestly, our scout team is probably better than anyone we've played yet. Our guys are probably having an easier time with the opponents. Of course, that will change before too long (this weekend?), but I agree, they are invaluable at this point.

THe Blue Jays are having some problems with the humongous playbook.

Great point. So the key to success then is to hire pros to play against your players in the future. (of course that is probably some kind of NCAA violation, at least for Iowa St. :jimlad:)

DG gave a lot of props to the scout team tonight during his post game interview

So did Coach Hoiberg, he said that Chris Allen had played Wedel in practice all week and Scotty had busted his butt chasing him through screens. It has to make the game seem easy when the guy in practice is tougher than the guy in the game.

This is what i was thinking during the game

There is no way this team would have been playing like they have if it wasn't for the talent they face in practice.

There's no doubt in my mind that the scout team is pushing the eligible guys to the limit right now and it's showing on the floor.

This looks like a team, not just a bunch of guys who kind of have talent.

This, this, and this.

I was explaining to my GF last night the talent our team has to play during practice, and how united they all seem together. You can see a COMPLETE turn around of how the team feels about each other, and the coaching staff, from when McD was here.

I haven't been this excited to attend a Cyclone BBall game since the Eustachy years.
