I have not seen Niang play, but does he have some of the same qualities/characteristics as Doug?

I hope Niang plays like him. I will never get people on this board who question what a player like Doug "would do in a major conference". He puts up huge numbers against everyone they play. Other than Lucca against Drake, and a game or two where Scotty hits a bunch of 3's, tell me one player we have had who has had any game like Doug seems to have every night. Go Cyclones.

Doug releases the ball extremely quick. Tough to block.

Greg would have been crazy to bring Doug to ISU.

If he was a bust Greg would be destroyed. If he was good people would want to know why he wasn't on scholarship. It was a no win situation for everyone involved. Plus the environment here was a disaster and clearly Greg was not going to make it.

Good thing it worked out like it did.

Good grief, Doug could have transferred just like most of the team. People would have understood. UNI is still upset.
