Down goes #4 KU

This could be the year. Big XII, NC, you name it. Not that I think ISU is the best team in the nation, but after watching a lot of BBall all ready there are no dominant teams. The field is weak. ISU has a lot of veteran talent. Could be a really special year.

Good grief. It's November 17th.

I'll add to that list the fact that the champs always have one of the best point guards in the nation.

Dont get me wrong, I grinned from ear to ear when KU went down tonight. But wouldn't you rather see them undefeated? Or as unblemished as possible? A win against Mich St. then when we beat KU, it can only help us out when it comes March seeding-wise (not that we should have a problem with that)

Was rooting for the Big12. But wow, is Valentine a probable All-American or what? Wonder how many players have had triple doubles vs. KU?

It's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. It basically establishes an open field at the top. It's early so there will be a lot of shuffling of rankings from now till conference play starts, but the narrative will change quite a bit from writers. KU will bounce back and be the expected strong team.

Love the confidence but tread lightly young man. And carry a spare nutcup. Until proven otherwise these are your father's Cyclones, so prepare yourself for the nut slug of all nut slugs.

I might pull for KU if they were playing Iowa but could just go all neutral for that game. Otherwise I want them to lose every game they play and I want their fans to cry like babies. Good players and good coach but their fans are insufferable entitled dickheads. All of them.

Lol...I'm not that young. I've been through the ringer with ISU and can handle disappointment. Like I said, I don't think ISU is the best team, nor should they be the favorite. But they are a top 10 ranked team. I think that's a fair ranking. Plus, unlike last year, I don't see any juggernaut teams. Odds of any particular team winning it all are low, but they may be the best ISU has ever had other than 99-00.
