Pretty positive it would be replaced with a mid-major team. Probably makes good sense, but will ruin plans for alot of fun.

If you book your package on Alligent Air out of Des Moines. You can stay at decent places, on the strip, for under $100. I stayed at NY/NY for $80 earlier this summer.

We've stayed at Monte Carlo for as little as $59 per night. You need to check around!

You won't be able to get that rate for a weekend in September. Summers are cheap because it's 120 degrees (of course it's a dry 120:smile:)

I hope this isn't true. That game is circled on the calendar for next year. Going with with about ten other guys and the wives. Hadn't picked a hotel yet but we've decided we need a good sportsbook.

Been looking for a good reason to take a fun trip to Vegas...this was it.

Allegiant Air is the $*** Last thanksgiving break, found $21 tickets to go to Vegas....Wow, more money to lose at blackjack:yes:

Yeah, it's those Allegiant flights that make a Vegas away game attractive. Nothing like $89 one-way.

Although, in the past, UNLV has given us some nasty games, so it's not like it's a total gimme.

You can find tons of places on the strip to stay for less than $100 during the summer AND during the week. But weekends are more expensive and so is staying during the fall. Summer is the "off-peak" in Vegas where good deals can be had.
