Love what Hogue brought to the team and adjusted his game this season. How many big 3s did he make this year?

Thats one way to look at it I guess....

Have you ever posted anything positive about an ISU player?

Look, I find myself agreeing with you on a few things here and there, but to be honest you usually come off as such a total d*ouchebag in your delivery that whatever you have to write of substance gets lost in all the noise you make in proclaiming it.

Yes....I praised Thomas play...stuck up for monte and McKay in another. I guess I'm just really frustrated with Dustin over the last week than I am any other player because we relied on him, we needed him....and he was a no show.
And this whole lackadaisical comment from Naz has me ticked off again. I typically agree with many of your comments as well...so my apologies.

Just cant believe how often we have dealt with effort this year....and how vocal our guys are in admitting it....honestly never seen anything like it.

Got it, and I do appreciate the civil response.

I completely agree with the bolded part; just leaves me speechless.

I'll miss the player he was for all up until Kansas City (where if you were there....he was extremely pouty) and today where he basically didn't show up. Not sure what his deal was.....but we really needed his toughness today and he just wasn't there.

And it's a shame....one if the fiercest rebounders I've ever seen at Iowa state, great hustler.

Do you have to be an *** full time?

Great effort, one of my favorites was his defense on an inbounds play during the big12 tourny against baylor towards the end of the game. Always plays 100

50/50 balls weren't 50/50 when Dustin was involved.

He did a lot of dirty work and will be missed.

You are a piece of work. Nothing is run for Dustin and he hardly get's the ball offensively. As far as hustle, he never stops. Of course, you would have to have some small of mount of understanding of the game to acknowledge that so maybe you're incapable of seeing it.

We probably won't see too many guys who plays like Dustin did very often.

It was in a loss, but it was a close loss because of him and his gritty performance last year in the Sweet Sixteen, in front of his family. Didn't go out on a great note, but his hustle was still there even today.

My bad....you're right....0 points and 3 rebounds is just what we were looking for today.....

Again..loved Hogue, loved his hustle and I've said he's the fiercest rebounder I've ever seen at ISU....but you can't argue that he showed up in KC (which he clearly was pouty...especially against Texas) and gave us nothing today. Feel bad for the kid....I know that's not how he wanted to go out....I'd love to know what was going on with this group....

Going to miss this guy. Always enjoyed his energy, enthusiasm, and uncanny ability to clean up.

Won't forget his wide open Ku dunk this year or the inbounds defense vs Baylor last year.

Good guy. One of my favorites.

100% with you on this. Can't forget the 34 pt outburst against the Nation Champs last year either. And the toothpicks!

I just checked and this is the only game of his ISU career that he did not score. Feel bad that Dustin had to go out on such a poor game.

Gonna miss the guy a lot next year. Like somebody mentioned before, he'll be one of those players that we'll be wishing we still had in games next year. Always went all out and did the little things to help us win games.

I had a co-worker that always referred to Hogue as "crazy legs" after his chest kick at WVU last year. That, plus the toothpicks, his emphatic dunks/rebounds, the 34 pt outburst against UCONN, and acting like he never committed a foul in his life are what I'll remember him for. Thanks for choosing to be a Cyclone, Dustin!

Didnt have the year I thought he would. He may have been pushing a bit as he had a slow start. Great athlete and could use him on the football field if he has that option still

Thank you, Dustin! You gave me a lot of great memories- the passion, the blocks, RIPPING the ball out of opponents hands, the BYU Karate kid, the OU dunk and 3 to put us in the lead on Senior Night, last year's 34 point performance, and many many more. Wish you all the best, man!
