Your right I am a fan. In fact I wanted to walkon there instead of ISU but out of state tuition was to high.

But as others have said you put mark Richt back to his roots with the talent in the Miami area alone and I believe they will be back at elite level soon.

Until the next booster gets busted. That city is not capable playing by the rules. My girl friend is from there. I always feel like I need a bath after leaving.

Not every kid wants to stay close to home. When I was looking at colleges, I had my choices narrowed down to ISU and ASU. They both had the program I was looking for, but ASU was in TEMPE FRICKIN' ARIZONA. You know, where it's actually warm for 12 months out of the year!!! I chose ISU because of in-state tuition, but I would have loved to go to ASU.

Not all Iowans want to stay in Iowa.

How long do you think Richt will last in that environment?

#1 reason my step-daughter chose ASU. Now they have a scholarship for out-of state students worth $13,000 a year as long as you maintain a 3.0 GPA, so after the scholarship tuition is right on par with ISU or Iowa.

I think he will last as long as he wants to and will be successful. Even though Miami has been down they still have had talent, just a crappy coach in Golden. Another thing about Miami, because it is a private school and very expensive they don't get many walkons so they are very reliant on not having recruiting misses.

If you call 120° "warm" haha

ISU has a lot to offer weather-wise as well. Tell a Texas kid, sure, he might have to play outside 1 day of the year when it's below 45°. But you'll never have to play a game when it's 100°+.

This is the real reason you wanted to go to ASU:

The U is a private school.

Good for this kid to go out of state. Miami is a great school. I wish I had tried to go out of state. A lot of the college costs you see advertised aren't what students actually end up paying.

Glad Dykstra didn't go to that ***** hole to the west.

I too looked at Miami. 38,000 a year 10 years ago was too rich for my blood.

I know I meant to say private school tuition and not out of state. Tuition and Other Expenses to The U for the 2015-2016 school year is $44,400.

He's always had talent. Do you think Miami is a better place to be than Georgia? I doubt it.

Yes, he's always had talent and he's won with it. In 14 years at Georgia, he won 2 SEC championships, 7 division titles, won 74% of his games, had 11 Top 25 finishes and 6 top 10 finishes. Went to a bowl game every year and was 9-5 in those bowl games. My guess is Miami would be pretty happy with that.

Agree, but I don't think he had Nebraska on his short list.

I'm thinking the kid was looking for a ticket away from Iowa winters, Can't blame him for that. He also has family in the area.
