Would we play Monte as a shooting guard for part of the game. He is one of our best shooters.Next year this team will be hungry, won't look past anyone, and will go far. I think that this will help make decisions.

Shut. The. ****. Up. We would not be replacing Monte at all. Take your shtick somewhere else. It's not funny anymore, actually it never was.You guys are crazy. You honestly think we are going to replace Morris with this Ennis kid? Ya ok

Doubt it. We no doubt play best with the ball in Monte's hands. If he came here, I most likely see Ennis just filling in more as a back-up point guard. Yes, in that role, he could fit the bill of operating as a "traditional" point guard like he wants, I just wouldn't see him getting many minutes in that role since Monte has proven he can play so many minutes. I imagine there would be some times we'd have both on the court, but that doesn't seem to be what he wants and he'd likely not be the point man in that case. Overall, I just don't see us being what he wants, especially in a league that lacks quality point guards. There is no doubt in my mind he could get EXACTLY what he wants someplace else very easily. Shoot, Iowa would probably sell off their firstborn to get him.
It's possible we take a look, but I think NN comes in and takes over as lead PG once MM leaves (quite possibly after this next year). I've said for 2 weeks now that NN is most likely a Cyclone and I stand by that prediction.
Hope you are right but the staff needs to keep options open in case that falls through. Appreciate the info. I like what Nick appears to bring to the table.
Not that I think he will come here, but I find it funny how uninformed people are. Morris and Ennis would be on the floor plenty together. Fred did a pretty good job of playing two PGs with Morris and Kane... Hell three if you want to call Niang a point forward.
