Yeah, hesitated putting Ryan on the list as I’ve never seen him in that 1st tier, but thought I’d include him given his age and longevity of being a starting QB.

When you add in the contract length, amount, and guarantees, will the Russell Wilson trade replace the Herschel Walker trade as the worst one in NFL history?
no QB has been a bigger dissapointment than Wilson. and they traded so much of their future to get him. and they are likely to cut him in the offseason. he has tanked that organization for a 5-10 years.
Russell for sure. Anyone else following the saga of touchdowns thrown vs bathrooms in his house? I believe bathrooms will be up 12-11 going into week 16.

As a Vikings fan, it sickens me to say this, but Rodgers is the best QB of all time when it comes to pure talent. Green Bay has never surrounded him with enough pieces, in my opinion.
Also a Vikings fan and I agree that he is one of the best ever. That's why I voted for him . I think it is more than just a team talent problem. I think there is something more going on with him. I don't know whether it is physical or personal or mental or maybe even just mad at the franchise but he has not looked like the typical Aaron Rodgers thst I love to hate.
He has or had a broken thumb and doesn't have a receiver who can really stretch the field.
His demeanor has been different though or seems like it.
The supposed lack of talent around Rodgers is and has always been grossly over exaggerated. The Packers actually have a lot of good talent at receiver. Lazard, Watson, Cobb, Tonyan, Doubs, and Jones are a good core. Lazard, Cobb, Tonyan, and Jones are all experienced. Watson and Doubs are both going to be good for years to come.
You can argue they should have traded some of the future success for a more immediate #1 receiver but the receiver talent is absolutely there.
The holes with the Packers are largely on the line and have been better recently. Rodgers has just been downright awful this year. The others had been on downward trends the last few years. Rodgers was MVP to potentially getting benched.
No they don't, maybe compared to a team like Houston or the Bears, but their reciever Corp is definitely in the bottom 10 of the NFL.
Watson is the only one with any talent and you can't count on a rookie. Cobb is washed, Doubs is nothing more than a 4th or 5th receiver on any other team.
Let's face it, I know everyone here is a Lazard homer and he was my favorite player, but hes a third receiver on most top tier teams in the league.
Tonyan had that year where he got lucky and scored alot, but otherwise hasn't been healthy. Jones and Dillon are a solid rb room, but beyond that he doesn't have much to work with.
I almost wonder if the finger injury last year really messed with his mechanics? He just hasn't looked the same at all since that finger injury last year.
Denver's o-line looks awful also so he's running for his life most of the game and they don't have much talent at rb to offset how bad he's been.
Al has disappointed a bit. Not sure that's all on him or some on Aaron. He's missed his **** at #1 status.
It’s also hard to ignore that AR is a huge piece of sh!t and a lousy teammate too. He brought a lot of this on himself.
Stafford was broke in half before he got to LA. Dude took a decade's worth of beatings in Detroit. I give him a pass.

There wasn't much to make him #1 except by default.
He's more of the utility type with possessions and run blocking and makes a difference but he's not going to destroy a secondary with his speed or YAC or something.
GB not getting a #1 in there in AR's twilight years is pretty funny but iirc he could have helped that.
Worst season has to be Russ. He has been terrible and the QBR stat backs that up.

In terms of single-season dropoff? Rodgers, easily. Went from top of the league stats to near bottom 10 in a single off-season, and it's not all on his (lack of) receivers. His decision making and throwing accuracy have fallen off a cliff this year and it shows.
In terms of hype/expectation versus reality? Wilson. He was showing some signs of drop-off in SEA as well, but what he is now is even worse than that...when the hype said he and his team were possible Super Bowl candidates.
