Like the announcers said, this is why Kansas has won 14 straight. ISU had no business letting Baylor keep the score close let alone win.

FWIW, I hate losing to Baylor in any sport more than any other school in the country. Their fans and administration are garbage. Here's to hoping the government burns that mother to the ground again.

We have 7 road games left. If we can go 4-3 in the remaining road games and hold serve at home, we end up 14-4. If we end up with that record, I like our chances to win the Big 12. If Lard's injury isn't too severe, I think this team's best basketball is ahead of us, with Wiggs getting back to his old self, and THT figuring out conference play.

If u guys are satisfied losing all the road game and being a 7 seed then fine. We have talent for a 3 seed and play in Des Moines. We can’t do that losing to a Baylor team with little talent.

Not saying we shouldn't have won that game, but Baylor also beat Arizona on their home court. They also took down Oregon. Again, we should have won, but they do have talent and have "shown up" at times. Frustrating night for us, no doubt.

my wife is on suicide watch. I tried to explain to her in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter but she is focused on little picture (being ranked and leading the big 12 3 games in) and not big picture.

They've already won a road game.

How do you know the talent is there for a 3 seed?

And does a 7 seed mean making the NCAA tournament?

I’m a lifelong fan. I take losses extremely hard.

But since I became an adult, I realized that things are never as bad as you think or as good. I also realized that no one works harder than the coaches or players. I realized that’s throwing a fit never makes me feel better.

Really good perspective. I will admit I needed to read that.

Our guys will be fine, it’s a long season. But my question is at what point does Lindell get back in the starting five. It Has to be the next game, correct?

I think so, KSU has some good guard play. and plays in your face D so will need to drive it on them and kick.

This loss had nothing to do with Baylor. It was all ISU. We had way too many forced $h11ty shots and possessions hoping for a ref bailout. Thats hard to watch.

Check the "Gas versus charcoal" thread and let me know which one is better for burning tickets.

I'd say it depends on what kind of scent you want lingering to go along with that sweet, satisfying smell of burning your tickets before January 10th.
