Well apathy hasn't set in at least. The morning after and we have adults calling each other idiots about a close loss to a team that has some quality wins and terrible losses.
THT should have been on the bench last night anyways right?
I agree.I don’t see how he’s acting like a child here? Part of being a fan is getting emotionally invested. It’s okay to be upset sometimes. Note that he wasn’t calling for Prohm’s head or anything of the sort.
At the end yes, he should have been pulled for taking that stupid 3 and he's been struggling with his shot so bad he shouldnt have been in on that last possession. Should have been
Wiggington
Haliburton
NWB
Shayok
Jacobson
Why on earth would anyone sign up for 2-1? OSU is the worst team in the league, Baylor is a bottom 3rd team, and we should ALWAYS expect to beat every team at home. I expect to beat teams we are better than; thus 3-0 was the very clear and logical expectation.Who wouldn't have signed up for 2-1 to start out conference play at the end of December?
You wanted the selfish one out there at the end?
Agree. In a likely peak year, it should not be too optimistic to start 3-0 against two teams likely at the bottom of the conference and a Doke-less KU at home.I would not have. I would have signed up for 3-0 which we should be if we took care of business. I think we have the talent to make a big 12 regular season run. We can't crap the bed like we did last night. Someone needs to become a leader and hold everyone accountable.
I sure did! He was on his game last night, offense should have run through him last few minutes, not a freshman throwing up desperation threes and NWB driving like he was Mike Gessell and getting stuffed by the backboard.

All debatable on what will happen/starting lineups, but 40% of our starters(currently) are freshmen is not. It's going to drop to 20% once Wiggington gets put back into the lineup where he belongs. Teams can surely win starting one freshman.
Why would this team not be expected to challenge for the regular season title? The team has talent and depth across all positions. And length and size to play high level team defense. The conference is down, and I would argue that Iowa State has the most talent in the league this season. Beat the teams you're supposed to, it's that simple. That includes all games at Hilton and the majority on the road this year. Not this year, it isn’t.

40% of our starters are freshmen. Ups/Downs are going to happen with freshmen
It’s entertaining, isn’t it?I don’t see how he’s acting like a child here? Part of being a fan is getting emotionally invested. It’s okay to be upset sometimes. Note that he wasn’t calling for Prohm’s head or anything of the sort.
We basically had 3 more or less toss-up games and won the most important of the three for the resume. You're either lying to yourself or your expectations are unrealistic if the morning of the game in Stillwater you wouldn't of taken a 2-1 start.
It's certainly frustrating when you lose the last game of the set though. The same feeling occurs in a 3 game series in baseball.

13-5 or 12-6 probably wins the league this year, no great team lots of very good ones.2-1 in every 3 game increment is 12-6, that isnt getting it done, now we have to go 3-0 in a tougher stretch of 3 games to contend for a championship.
