Of all the complaints on Fred's decision making at the end of this game, my biggest complaint was in the first half, right around the time he decided to put Gibson in.

We are bad at the end of regulation when we are up or down. That needs to be worked on practice. You need to know what you are going to do before the situation arises. I don't get the feeling we knew. Fred doesn't foul in the Kansas game and does foul here...with over 9 seconds remaining!!! And then the situation happens again but doesn't foul. I don't follow the logic.
Some who is in his third year of coaching was out coached by someone in their 26th year of coaching? This is something that we should have expected. Fred is learning, he will get it figured out.
Normally I'd agree but apparently our guys were supposed to foul at the end of regulation and didn't. So no wonder Fred has to call timeouts...he has to try and explain to our guys what to do.
This is what I've been saying since the game. Watch the last 1-2 minutes (when we were up 6), we gave up an open 3 and several uncontested layups. And then we got schooled and gave up a wide open 3 to tie in at the end. Have to play defense to close out games...and we didn't do that.
