yes, because tj was the recruiting coordinator, however these guys still signed on to get coached by Mcd.

Actually his signature came in officially after McDermott was gone. Same for Anderson, Babb, and Godfrey. More than likely 3 of the 4 would still have been Cyclones regardless

sorry you have to go and get all technical on me, he was also visiting on campus when mac was still the coach and his commitment came before mac left. I remember being astonished that Mac was able to get someone of this caliber after the season we had last year.

McKnight has loads of potential and right now that is all it is. He has the height, the frame, the quickness, etc to be very, very good. He needs to add weight, gain experienced, and improve his skills. And at ISU he will get a chance to do all of that right away. I think he will see lots and lots of minutes; perhaps even start now that Dendy is gone.

it is amazing to me that someone is saying dud mcdermott could coach. if old dud mcdermott would have known how to coach he would have won more games in the big 12 and would have not have had so many basketball players leave under his coaching.
therefore, i question mr. dud mcdermott's aility to coach.he surely did not show that ability the last 4 years at isu!!!!!!!!!

Let's get McKnight to do more than 6 reps @ 185 so he can make some plays in the paint.

Would much rather he had stronger lower body than bench press strength since that doesn't mean too much in basketball... just ask Kevin Durant. But of course were rather he was an all around beast in the paint.

I liked his videos, very athletic.... not much in them but dunks and block shots so couldn't get much of a gauge on his low post moves or if he has any range at all.

random trivia: stuart scott lost his eye when he got hit in the eye by a football jug machine.

How did he get hit by the machine? I could see getting hit by the football, but man, why were people throwing the machine around? Isn't the whole point of the machine to do the throwing for you? Pretty silly if you ask me.

I read an article a couple months ago where Kevin Durant said, "I still can't bench 185." He led the league in free throw attempts. Bench press really doesn't matter much in basketball, but legs are crucial. It's the basketball equivalent of "drive for show, putt for dough."

I read an online article about him that said he was talented enough to play the 3 spot if needed. It said he has good ball handling skills for a big guy. I am really excited about him. I wonder why Rivals never rated him as he had a lot of offers.
