Ever wondered why so many educated people are so damn stupid?

This is something I would laugh about on the way home, tell my wife, then forget about the rest of my life, not logon to my favorite sports forum and start a thread.

Picked up a prescription today. Told me I needed to speak to the pharmacist because the dose had changed. She went on and on, finally I told her I take it for leg pains and it wasn't getting me through the night. Then she said does your doctor know you increased the dose? I replied I didn't up the dose the guy that sent the prescription in did. Are we done?

Heaven forbid the pharmacist was too thorough making sure you understood dosages on a new, updated script...

If they hadn't, you'd be here b****in' they didn't do their job. Condemning competence isn't really an attractive quality.

As stated above, pharmacists are supposed to check the Dr.'s orders to avoid mixing things they shouldn't or or things that they are EXPERTS ON EVEN ABOVE THE DR. I worked on pharmacies for years, I would over hear the pharmacists correcting the doctors script's quite often actually.

College education is overrated, and quite frankly, easy to obtain even a BA anymore these days. A BA is the new AA, Master's Degree the new BA etc etc.

As far as the thread title goes..... No, I've never wondered why so many educated people are so damn stupid. I have, however, wondered why so many uneducated people think they're smarter than everyone else - especially those that are educated.
