This will hopefully distract me from MBB well enough tonight lol
Wife just threw a wrench in my plans. I’ve been staying up late with our newborn, but I was just told that I can go to bed if I want. Wish I knew that before consuming all the coffee that I just did 30mins ago.

I was extra dumb and stayed up playing games with some friends and then decided to watch the race before I went to sleep.

Not super flashy but that is one of the most impressive weekends I’ve seen from Max.

McLaren is back to the WTF strategies.

Race was pretty meh, but agree impressive driving from Max. Given McLaren’s performance all weekend I assumed that Max would lose the lead early in the race.

For the record I love Jacques Villeneuve doing commentary. He don’t just kiss ass of teams. He brings up good points. Plus I like Jacques since I happen to be at the Indy 500 the year he won.

Btw I’m pretty confident that Lando drove into the grass in the pit lane to get Max penalized because he knew the race would be over if he didn’t try something. He seemed all smiles after the race like he knew he tried to pull a fast one on Max

That race was boring, luckily for me. I got to bed at a reasonable time (s/o West Coast)

I think we can safely say Ollie will get the Ferrari seat once Lewis hangs it up.

Agree on Ollie. Antonelli for Mercedes has looked amazing as well.

McLaren could have easily split strategies to try and put some pressure on Max and go for the win, but I get the feeling that oscar/lando are too concerned about each other for the driver championship and the team doesn't want to give the appearance of preferential treatment to one of their drivers.
