I did and see where it was parked but don’t see anything written on the car.
After scanning they write your lot in the upper left of the windshield so the parking lot people can easily see it. I walked around this one to see what was marked, didn’t take that photo.

Found this as we walked back to the lots to leave. This was in A4 and that was written on the windshield. Probably can’t blame it on the other team, but the wrong thing to do.

So you're drawing our attention to something that none of us can see?

Overall less Iowa fans at this home game that I have seen in a while was a good thing. A group of Iowa fans by us were more obnoxious than fans around us last game but whatever...sticks and stones. As long as they didn't say or do anything stupid directly to us or good people around us no issues. My son said after the game one of them commented about my hat and Iowa being ANF school. Maybe they were farmers too?

A typical hawk no brain
Yeah. It was almost as special as the 3 dudes yelling obscenities the same daughter about 5 min after the pissing guy. I whispered “keep walking, don’t look at them” and of course she looked at them and they got louder.

I could go on about two other interactions as well.

Hawk fans think a high class bunch with their Hayden era apparel and all that crap but in reality they are quite honestly the scum of the college football world.

They think other schools (think MN, WI, NE, etc) dislike them because they beat them. No, they dislike Iowa because of their douchey fans.

Iowa fans think it's their responsibility to disrespect their opponents' fans when they are in enemy territory, and no place do they feel more comfortable acting like a WWE wrestling heel than Ames, Iowa. 75 percent of Iowa fans are fine. But their 25% is as bad as any I've ever encountered. It's what one poster here has so accurately defined as "Haydenism".

We were surrounded by drunk Hawks in the upper deck openly drinking their booze and making life miserable. It makes the SEZ wall even more ridiculous. Three drunk Hawk teenagers harassing fans so much that adults from both sides tried talking to them. Thought they were going to hit one woman.

Discussing the scary situation after the game with a friend who asked why the ushers did nothing. What ushers? At least two years ago, we had one for three quarters and when he left, all hell broke loose.

I don’t feel safe in my seat for this game. There is no security whatsoever. There is obviously not the staff to prevent people bringing in cans and bottles of all sizes. I would pay more for my ticket to feel safe in the stadium. It’s only one game cause of those morons, but something ugly will happen soon and it will the AD’s fault for not paying staff to keep people safe.
Security was huddled around all of our “guests” who should have hired their own security.

Sure is nice when folks have access to the suites at Jack Trice so they can flaunt their Hawkeye gear … View attachment 116637
That is not even remotely close to the most appalling thing in that suite!!

Whomever has that suite sold it out to let Gary Kirke and Matt Whitaker (big hawks) to make a political scene at JTS.

Wow that pisses me off even more, at least one of them should have had SS. Other people came up to look at them over the stadium wall, at least we were far enough away to avoid that stuff. But if people are bringing in glass fifth and liter bottles, it’s not hard to imagine they can also bring in weapons.

Well this breaks the narrative but there was a gentleman that was 92 yrs old wearing a honor flight hat and a Hawk fan helped steady him so he could get down the stairs, during the 2nd half the hawk fan ahead of him spent most of it visiting with him.
Unless we beat them you can't expect them to be too quiet. And that is on our coach who wants to only win one way.

We entered the stands from the West side, they were using handheld scanners and we got right it. Immediately grabbed a Pepsi to mix with my rum, very quick, not much of a line. Got to our seats, and they had removed the top section of the wall in section 19. We could see over it without standing, it was a huge improvement over the week before.
Got right out of the parking lots on the Southside of the stadium within a few minutes and were on 30 then I35 in less than 15 minutes after we started out of the lot.

Best personal moment was when I was sitting in my seat, and a EIU fan setting in front of me was eyeballing me and laughing. Young guy was smiling and laughing, kept looking back at me. He then got up and walked over, it was a former student of mine that I had years ago. He said he tried to get of hold of me but couldn't. I have to say, I couldn't remember the kids name, but I did remember having him in class. When I asked him if enjoyed having me in class, he said as a sophomore he thought I was a hard ass, but by the time he was a senior, he thought my class was one of the few he enjoyed coming to every day. I asked him what he was doing now, and he said he was a diesel mechanic making good money and just wanted to thank me for making a difference and caring about him.

Just as we were unloading everything in G8/public lot, I looked up to see a Schmuckeye party bus try to pull in, probably on just one parking pass. They eventually had them pull to the side, and a number of passengers got off to use the porta-johns. The bus never did park in our lot. Not sure where it did park, but it wasn't in G8 for just $25.

Looking at the line on University between Mortensen and S. 16th, I wondered how many people (Iowa fans) just showed up with no pass and had to get waved along.

We waited WAY too long just on 30 to get to the lot. I was wondering if AWA fan didn't do their due diligence.

Cyclone fan, be better if you're going to an away game and check the host team's stadium/ticketing/parking policies.

This is the ******** I'm taking about. There are dipshits in every single fan base out there. There are good folks given a bad name because of the dipshits.

We would all be in a much better spot if people would grow the **** up and quit generalizing. Call douchebags out for being douchebags. The gear they're wearing doesn't matter.

The Iowa parents section was across the row from me and they were some of the nicest visiting fans I've ever dealt with.
