Most of you have used this but for those who haven't, it's a good site to track TV schedules.

K-State football today reported 7 new c'virus cases after allowing the team Saturday night off. Manhattan is certainly a hot spot. Glad we're up here at the lake instead.

We rolled over our season tickets. My son and friends purchased a 3-pack plan though, obviously planning on attending this fall.

Why would they let them have Saturday night off?

If this is going to work, there really can't be any time off out of the bubble. That's just going to get the season shut down real quick.

Thanks for that reference. I'll have to keep that to look at.

Crazy there's going to be a game tomorrow night. It will be interesting to see how they go about it.

because they are college students and not professional athletes. You want to restrict their activity that much then they need paid.

I think Chris is correct. I have some pretty good sources. Mitigation plans are being finalized. Expect an announcement next week. All signs seem to point to the 25% Option. I personally think zero fans makes the most sense. No knowledge on a joint B12 decision.

I'm going to guess than that there are enough Season Ticket holders that want to go and not opting out that there will be no outside sales. Oh well. Better than nothing.

Here try this article. Lots more reasons to not wear a mask. Though, granted it's more psychological than physiological.

They make you suggestible; they make you more likely to follow someone else’s direction and do things you wouldn’t otherwise do. In short, they switch off your executive function – your conscience.
What a bunch of garbage.

The studies he references on the psychological impact of masks are in regards to wearing masks as part of a costume, which in no way relates to wearing masks for public health reasons. That article is borderline fraudulent and a bunch of crap.

Between it being posted by Argent and it looking like it was somehow still designed and hosted on Geocities in the year 2020 was a pretty clear indication that it was complete garbage.

Makes sense to me.

You think that will cover their UBill? Because a scholarship is compensation.

They aren’t locking them up for a scholarship. No one is going to lock down STUDENT athletes in a bubble. Would it work? Probably, NBA going well. But, no one is going to do it with amateurs. I guess time will tell, but I won’t believe it until I see it. That said, a lot has happened I wouldn’t believe until now.

I think that I missed part of the conversation.

No one is “locking up” student athletes. The staff is teaching them that it is in their own best interests to maintain a bubble—and why. Minus the disinformation some people toss out there.

That’s called learning personal responsibility, and that and other factors of personal growth are much of the reason why I love Matt Campbell as our coach so much.

I don’t think anyone would disagree about educating the team to make smart decisions when what they could do affects the entire team. This is not a bubble. I think we basically agree.

My brother is about 3/4 of the way up in E. He has had many opportunities to move down but won't. He is a football purist and he likes the view he gets of all of the action on the field from midfield and further up. I have sat with him before and I have to admit that it is a great view of the game.
I hate sitting low in the stadium.
