What are one or two of your favorite songs from artists or bands that aren’t their best known or weren’t released as singles?
I am a massive Fleetwood Mac fan. Gold Dust Woman is hands down their best song and one of the best written songs in history in my opinion. Just brilliant.
I also think Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters is a wildly unknown but fantastic track by Elton John.
Great drumming on that one by Stewart Copeland as well. Love The Police...Fans of The Police know that some of their best work is their instrumental stuff (for which I think they won some Grammys?) The instrumental, Reggatta de Blanc off of their second album of the same name is brilliant, absolutely one of their best. The few "lyrics" are gibberish so I assume that excluded it from airplay in the late 70s / early 80s when it was released.
Yes! One of my favorite Foos songs. I was really hoping they'd play it when I saw them at Wrigley, but, no dice.Hey! Johnny Park is one of my favorite tracks off The Colour and the Shape. Taylor Hawkins' intro pulls me in every time.
My wife and I love Grandmas Theme.

I saw an old interview on YouTube where this dude was trying to get SC to dis on groups using drum machines and he was like "Oh yes, I use a drum machine (with his drums) on (the studio version of) Reggatta de Blanc"...innovativor...Great drumming on that one by Stewart Copeland as well. Love The Police...
Another Journey song that doesn't get its due among their great songs is "Only the Young"! Was used perfectly as the "intro" of the Vision Quest film (itself very underrated)!
Vision Quest has a pretty darn good soundtrack.
Linda Fiorentino didn’t hurt eitherWhich certainly contributed to making the film so good!
