1983-84 season, 6 foot Terrance Allen postered a 6'10" Michael Payne in OT and ISU won 76-72

1c. Lafester. - This would be higher but a girl I was dating broke up with me because I was distracted from our phone conversation because I was also watching the game. I suppose there were probably better reasons but that's what I'm going with. I didn't make the wrong choice.
Which game did Kane bounce the ball off of Woodbury's butt? That's up there too if it's not one of the one's listed.

The John Neal game was the nastiest game at Hilton I was ever at. We gave it to Pierce!!

All of these mentioned are great memories……. I don’t want to decide. The Kiss, the second half lockdown, The Rhodes Show, 2021 beat down, Puddles on the floor, slaying Fran with threes, Neal getting free beer forever in the state …. All great ones….

The 2014 win, at the Morgue in Iowa City, ISU came out on fire, and just hammered EIU. Costing easily to a 15 point win, and then the topper, getting the DM Register the next day and the headline "WELCOME TO THE MACHINE."
LOL was up in the balcony for that one between the traitor and rapist chants the crowd was wild for that one. Hawkeye fan complained to the usher about the use of profanity in the area that his kid was hearing. I thought you don't bring your kid to a instate rivalry game at the opposing arena and then be shocked when your kid learns new words.
John Neal game for me. Just nostalgia of being there and still living in the dorms. Everyone's MSN side message thing referenced Neal
Side note: was the Neal game the same as the No Means No game where the PA constantly asked us to stop chanting directed at players?
I was there. Front row balcony. It was so loud my friend was screaming at me and I didn't hear a word of it. Iowa had the twin towers - Payne and 6'10 Stokes - and Allen soared over both of them. Amazingly, Iowa also had 6'11 Brad Lohaus on that team, too.
