I don't know why everyone hates the announcers so much. On that note, I know he doesn't work for ESPN.... But Gus Johnson is a MAN among boys! Xavier vs. Kansas State anyone?

Never thought I'd say this but I really like Jalen Rose. His sports knowledge goes beyond basketball and he's not the average loud, over-the-top ESPN analyst. He spoke very eloquently of Ernie Harwell the morning after his death.

They have so damned many it's hard to recall all of them but I do like both Gottlieb and Bilas.

Difference between sideline reporting and analyzing - I've never seen Erin Andrews analyze (although if you said "personality" she'd be right up there).

Personally I like Suzy Kolber and Doug Gottlieb

I agree with you 100%. I never expected it, but he is my favorite analyst on ESPN, and I don't even care for the NBA.

College Basketball - Bilas, because I can never get enough talk about "ridiculous length and wingspan"

College Football - Most are pretty good.

NBA - Not so good. The only good ones work for TNT.

NFL - Just glad Emmitt Smith doesn't work there anymore, but I do like Jaws and Tom Jackson. Keyshawn I think has a really high ceiling and I like him, but his ego rubs me the wrong way sometimes.

Hockey - Is there anyone better than Melrose?

Baseball - They're all pretty good, except Winfield and of course the Sunday night duo of death, Jon Miller & Joe Morgan.
