Several clips from war flicks.

Young men flying into battle; there's virtually no dialogue, just the evocative soundtracks.
From "A Bridge Too Far":

And from "Hamburger Hill":

The battle and the aftermath from "We Were Soldiers" (again, the soundtrack is what does it for me):

I’ve always loved Notting Hill. One of my favorite lines from a movie is one simple word: “Indefinitely.” Which of course was setup by “I’m just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her.”

A Bridge Too Far has a few of those scenes where there are only a few words and are absolutely spectacular.

...unless you work in a nudie bar. Ok, now that I have that out of the way, I give you the interrogation scene from Basic Instinct. I love this movie in a so-terrible-it's-fun way. Sharon Stone was just the right actor for this role, imo. Difficult to imagine anyone else pulling off the character with such ease. This whole scene just worked, but not necessarily for the reason those familiar might automatically assume. o_O

(If this is too risque', mods can delete or I can remove it - I totally get that.)
