Guess I don't get the badmouthing of Sage. IMO he can get the job done. With their D and RBs, all a QB needs to do is not screw up. Sage can do that. Yeah, he threw some picks in Houston, but he was asked to WIN games there and carry the offense. He won't be asked to do that at MN. Hell, Trent Dilfer won a Superbowl. Sage is better than him.

Good post.....I can tell you from my POV that most hard-core Vikes fans (including my wife & in-laws) can be pretty fickle and always assume the worst will happen (i.e. Sage & T-Jack are worthless, we're screwed w/o Favre, etc..).....I think they do that to protect themselves from getting let down every year & that's why the badmouthing is going on. My wife, however, is pumped about Sage and hated the idea of Favre playing in purple.

Although my true allegiances are with the Broncos, I'll be getting a purple #2 jersey as soon as they come out.
