Will bump the mower up a notch this time out. Problem is my mower has developed a surge once it gets warm. Local dealer is 2.5 weeks out for service. Newer mower has the plastic carberator on it. I’ve had it off twice. Cleaned it and blew everything else. Spark plug is good. New fuel and cleaned air filter. Just wondering if it developed an air leak that is causing it. Frustrating!
Is it a Briggs & Stratton motor? Those are notorious for surging issues on the new Toro's and from what I've read there isn't really a solid solution.

I'm too busy to care anymore and the city keeps increasing water prices so I haven't bothered watering the lawn for years. If it browns out then whatever, I'll gladly take back the time it takes to mow the yard. I mowed a week ago and yard badly needs mowed right now but trying to find some time this week when the kids don't have something going on is challenging.
Same. We had a new build and I was always worried when it would turn the least bit brown and start watering the hell out of it. Watched all my neighbors yards turn browner than a hay field for an entire summer, and come back lush with the fall rains. Watering is overrated. And ******* expensive.

I could spend $60 on a new carb or spray some carb cleaner around the carb when it starts to surge to see if there is a leak as dealer tech told you would hear the change in sound if there was a leak.

New neighbor, 2-3 months ago. Not much lawn maintenance while the house sale was in process, and new guy doesn't seem all that bothered by crabgrass. So now it's infiltrating from his lawn into mine.

OH NO!!! Some of the weed killer spray got several feet into his yard!!! What a shame! :D:cool:

What spray do you use? I didn't have any all year but the past couple weeks it's exploded, I blame the prairie area behind our house.
