This is my thinking, it's nothing against the fr class this year but none fit the mold of the guys Steve has had success with here. With the way he wants to spread everyone out, not being able to be a factor off the dribble makes you useless, unless you can hit 40% of your 3's. He would need to start all over again to find guys that fit what he wants to do, he's always chosen that over adjusting his coaching to the teams strengths and that's the biggest reason the roster is as thin as it has been the last two years.

Prohm has been throwing **** at the wall and hoping it sticks since he got here. The all-access article that Hines had before last season revealed how clueless Prohm is. He has no philosophy of his own. He's ridden his mentors and bosses' coattails to a multi-million dollar bank account.

Well said. Much longer and darker than anything these fire Steve fans could ever imagine. These things run in cycles. It’s only temporary, just drink your Bush Light and keep telling yourself it will be all right.
Major difference between CSP and the football years. It is much more frustrating watching someone destroy a Top 20 program then watching someone not be able to take a program from the cellar to .500.

Not exactly sure.

Some of us are old enough to remember when our football team was good and was the top team in the state. Then we went down to crap for 15 years. So to be similar we would need another ten years of this basketball season to happen to be fairly similar.

I never understand why money determines how we should treat someone. If the person makes $1 or $100MM why treat them any different? Prohm is a great guy that respects ISU more than a lot of people will ever know. He fully understands criticism comes with the job and he can handle it, but some people are taking it too far.

Its because of jealousy. People are jealous of his salary but not of someone making 100k.

I'm old enough to remember Donnie Duncan and Jim Criner destroying a Top 20 football program that was a hell of a lot worse than this.

He makes millions so it comes with the territory. What a terrible justification.
