This thread is funny. People have to ***** about everything. Nothing is perfect, just maybe try to sit back and enjoy what is happening. It's never been done here.

This x1000. That's why every year Campbell is getting calls from other ADs to take a new job because Campbell is winning at a program that really has all the odds against us winning. No long-term success, smaller recruiting base in Iowa, etc. We have improved our talent since Campbell has gotten here but we are far from Bama, Clemson, and even OU and Texas talent even though we have been competitive against them. For the people expecting perfection every single week you are off your rockers and must have just become a fan since 2017 because pre-2016 we all would be salivating at the thought of being 5-2 and controlling our destiny to a Big 12 title game in November. Enjoy the ride! We are 5-2 and yet to see the ceiling of this team!
Well, for the most part you're correct. But, if you're as old as I, you saw some pretty darned good football from Iowa State ... back in the Jurassic era.

Yep, some people would complain about dating a rich supermodel who is a nymphomaniac.
Gisele once said that when she and Tom feel like splurging, they'll eat a whole banana. Luckily, my supermodel wife will occasionally allow me to eat a banana and an apple.

Way up there
Maybe your 'expectations' are not being met and thus 'think' regression is happening.

He's having his worst season statistically. He's on a pace to have the worst completion %, QB rating, passing yards per game and avg per completion of his career. The stats support that he hasn't been the same guy we saw the previous season and a half, that's with having the best running game (and arguably defense) he's had in his career. It's not all on him, injuries are really impacting things but the passing game isn't as efficient as the last two seasons, some of that is due to some out of character decision making on Brock's part.

I like passionate people. Get mad. Talk about something other than the weather and sports. Are we talking about sports? Get mad. I still like Larry....I know everybody doesn't...but I do.
