No idea, but they certainly drove like 2 different vehicles!I could swear that at one time Mazda/Ford co-produced the Fusion/6. Maybe I'm thinking of another model.

Pickups, because everyone who doesn't really need a pickup for any cargo needs loves driving around in pickups for some reason.
Yes, it is an unwritten rule of truck ownership: if you just got a truck, so did your friends, neighbors and relatives.Lol, but yet when you need something bigger to haul, who do you call??
The luxury full sized pickup has replaced the sports car as the vehicle of choice for the overcompensating man. I could really stand to have one for house and landscaping projects, but they are so damn expensive. It's unbelievable how many quad cabs are cruising around with a bed cover that never comes up until they have to get the suitcase and diaper bag out during a weekend trip to grandmas.

Interesting take on the move. They note that some of things we are calling crossovers are more hatchback sedan than SUV. Really more "car" than SUV based.

While the "ATV" on the license plate can be justified as short for Active, the name of the sub model, I don't think it is any coincidence that "ATV" would subliminally reference something else.Interesting take on the move. I don't know how it is going over all, but in a lot of the jurisdictions I see a whole bunch of SUVs serving as patrol cars.I'm guessing that Dodge is going to like this move. There are a ton of Ford cop cars that I'm guessing will become Dodge Chargers.
Yeah I think a lot would probably just buy more Explorer's.I don't know overall how it is going over all, but in a lot of the jurisdictions I see a whole bunch of SUVs serving as patrol cars.

My girlfriend had a Honda Civic when we started dating. I'm 6' 3" and if we took her car on a trip longer than an hour or two, my knees would start bothering me. I don't have knee issues and this is the only time they would bother me.
We bought her an SUV a few years later (Nissan Murano). Knee issues vanished, can drive as long as I want now without issue. I would prefer to have a car that got better mileage, but I won't trade it for the SUV comfort.
People are often surprised how much can fit in a small car. The other day I bought some metal edging that came in 6 foot strips. Once I got outside of HD I freaked out a little wondering if they would fit in my tiny car. They fit perfectly after I googled "How to fold down seats". Pretty sad that I didn't know but who puts the rear seat release in the trunk?
