What do you like about tik toc? I'm leery of them also. 1) Chinese company, 2) @simply1 warned me about the spam / or the information they get on you, when you view their video clips.

The no bra challenge. Honestly, I don’t have it and was joking around. My wife likes it and all I see are the shorts that are on you tube.
I think like absolutely everything in life, there's risk. But you can 'play' the system by remaining anonymous. How? Bogus names. Bogus locations. Extra email to use for 'potential' spam sites. The main upside is only for things like this, OR following ISU related posters (because, redundantly, these things are measured and influence future contracts).
Twitter blows. Tweetbot for ios is ad-free without algorithm content and is the bomb.
I do have a secondary (less liked) e-m address that I use for stuff like this, and potential spam.
I haven't gone as far as to give a false name or address yet. I might have to try this.
