Not sure if this has been posted... Did anyone watch this? Turns out we have a new quarterback, his last name is pronounced arnude, that was painful to listen to. Also, in our "highlight clip", this arnude fella throws a pick to a K-state player. Other than that the show was a decent fix for me. It kind of sounded like the "analysts" got told the leaders statistically last year and threw in adjectives that go hand in hand with the stats, but oh well

I was trying to find it, but on the Dish guide, most of the team previews just say "Team Preview". Got missouri and Kansas today, maybe tomorrow evening, before the Cards play.

The Arnude or Arnood thing was priceless. I mean, really? Do SOME research. I thought the preview was very weak compared to years past.

It wasn't anything you haven't heard before. The analysts were pretty bad. They didn't have anything profound to say.

It sounded like some intern did the research for those guys and the "experts" simply regurgitated it. They had to look at their notes about every third word.

Main points:
-Paul Rhoads will bring much needed stability to Ames. They referenced the Nevada/Ankeny connection only about 8 times.
-"Arnode" and A-Rob should be great for Herman's system
-Wally's defense will be an aggressive, attacking defense built to stop the spread

Nothing earth-shattering but it wasn't terrible. I'm just appreciative that we got a 30 minute show after last year's performance. Worth a watch if you get a chance.

It was fun to watch. It wasn't any better or worse than before, just exactly the same. Their 'experts' were laughable.. just like last year.. Their editing crew wasn't paying any sort of attention, that clip of AA throwing a pick was suppose to go on K-State highlight show, not ours.

My wife recorded it for me last night while I was at work and we just watched it. Overall, we liked it. It was pretty silly to show the interception vs. K-State from last year as a "highlight" but, I liked the interview with Coach Rhoads and the general optimism of the analysts.

Thought it was definitely a little lame, the miss pronouncing of AA name was horrible, even my wife of almost 1 year (former hawk fan) even laughed at the pronouncing of his name. You would think they could find some announcers who really pay attention to the Big 12 or at least a local representative from each school to say a few things.
I watched some of Missouri's preview afterwards it was the exact same thing with different jerseys and peoples names. Apparently they used the same template for all the schools, and a lot of the same hightlights, or low lights for us.

I watched the KU and Nebraska shows and I'd agree that they analyists are pretty crappy and watered down. But I suppose you'll get that. And the blonde chick is pretty hot.
