Awe, too bad Fran. The better team won last night.

He looked like such a ***** last night. I personally look forward to Fred dominating him for years in games and the recruiting trail.

Eat it Sqawks! We're better than you and we will be for many years to come.

Go Cyclones!

Yup, ISU is better right now. Not sure about the "many years to come" bit, but whatevs. Iowa's program is certainly building. Not as fast as ISU's at this point, but I think we all saw last night that the team is night and day better than it was last year.

Agreed. Fran needs to start to really recruit. Not just 1-2 guys... but he needs to land a bunch of high flying athetes ASAP.

He knows how to coach. I just dont know if he can get enough guys to Iowa.

I did feel bad for Fran getting a T last night on a play that was clearly called correctly.

That would partially be because you really can't go much lower.

Feel bad for Matt Gatens. Heck of a player and I'm afraid he'll never see a winning season.

And you can say the same about ISU's program building.

Oh Lord no. Look back to the 60's and 70's before Johnny Orr put us on the map. Even with the coaching circus we've had over the last 10 years, we've still pulling in NBA talent based on our past glory and Hilton Magic.

I talked to a friend who's close to McCafferey and said Fran's using Iowa as a stepping stone. Stated that Fran's heart is coaching out east and has his eye's on a couple big time jobs when they open.

EIU has destroyed most of it's recent coaches careers. Hardly a stepping stone.

It's death for a coach.

I would bet that either you or your friend are making this up out of thin air. Any body can say any thing, your post proves that.

You would be wrong. Most all hawk fans like FM a lot and think he will lead us to better days. Yes they are aware it will take some time.

Really? Is that why we heard all the booing of the officials last night? If everyone was fine and dandy with either a win or loss there wouldn't have been that much passion shown by the fans in the stands.

Booing officials means fans aren't unhappy with the coach?

ISU fans must really hate Fred and Rhoads then.
