Almost like they were wanting do to a Rage against the Machine song here.

Yessir, that is great stuff. Mixes a lot of the musical tastes of my youth into one song.

I worked at a club during college, the Djay would always play Intergalactic when I walked in for the 11-2 shift.

Entrance of the Gladiators sounds much more macho than the actual song.

Trust me, the circus music was appropriate for me at the bat when I played baseball. I was mostly a defensive third baseman and outfielder with absolutely no power, but I could create quite a farce.

When I got to the plate, I had basically these objectives...

-- maybe try to bunt for a hit and leg-out an infield single, which I could do with a quick 10-yard time
-- if not that, try to make the at-bat as absolutely long as possible... just pad the pitch count
-- take pitches, foul off strikes, consider a walk or getting hit by a pitch/being thrown at eventually a victory
-- I always told myself going to the plate I wanted to see 15 pitches
-- if I ever actually swung at something and put it in play, it going over the head of the shortstop was far for me

This all actually worked pretty well. Opposing pitchers hated me. My averaged sucked but my OBP was pretty good. Plus, if I could make it to first, I was pretty reliably able to steal second/into scoring position.

You wouldn't want me batting near the top of the lineup, but stashing me at 8th or 9th in the batting order and letting me just kind of mess the plan up for the other team (or maybe even getting on base in a way that doesn't contribute to your batting average and be on base to boost the top of the lineup) was a specialty of mine.

I will get a lot of huhs? on this one, but I don't know what it is about this song that I love so much. It has to be from the 80's where the best music ever was made.

I had actually never realized until a few years ago that she recorded and released that song in the 80s. I thought it was just a song she had for the Tracey Ullman show. I was 4 when she released it, so I hopefully get a pass.
