Disney+ : Will watch new content if it looks good, like Hamilton. The Clone Wars. The Hawkeye (barf) series was pretty good.

Amazon Prime : The Expanse is the reason I got it in the first place. The Boys is great. Reacher, Good Omens, Jack Ryan are other good series. Watched The Map of Tiny Perfect Things the other day which was good.

Apple TV : Ted Lasso. The Beastie Boys Story. People keep saying Coda is good, it doesn't look spectacular to me, but I may cave and watch it. Been thinking about Severance.

Hulu : Just random movies on Hulu, it's seems to be very hit or miss. Love and Monsters was good. Only Murders In the Building. I see Fight Club is on there which I've never seen, so that is on my list.

Hulu - Had it with my Spotify, need to recombine it with my Disney+ account. I love Atlanta, Reservation Dogs, Letterkenny, and Wu-Tang. Hate the commercials I had on that.

I have Atlanta set to record when it comes on TV, but I do admittedly hate watching crap with commercials. I need to rewatch the first two seasons - I'm going to just let them all queue up and then binge them.
Apple TV : Ted Lasso. The Beastie Boys Story. People keep saying Coda is good, it doesn't look spectacular to me, but I may cave and watch it. Been thinking about Severance.

I'd read the book of The Beastie Boys Story first, so it was nice to have more details fleshed out ahead of the show. I've heard that the audiobook is the best, however, so I still need to hunt it down.

I love Adam Scott, so I may be biased - but I really like Severance. It's sort of grim but great.

Loved it. I admit I can be a bit of a sap on stuff like this, but if you're a girl dad I don't know how you wouldn't love the movie. Troy Kotsur (plays the dad) is amazing.

We got HBO Max on a half-price trial for six months, and for some reason they extended it for another six months. That might be the best service going right now, IMO. And I guess Discovery+ and HBO Max are merging into one service at some point. Discovery+ looks like a lot of junk TV to me, but YMMV.
Just noticed that too. I put the end of the promotion date on my calendar, and when I checked it, it was extended until September. To show you how frugal my wife is, when I told her about it, I said that HBO is still $7.49 for another 6 months! Her answer was "$8.01" lol

Hulu - I mainly use Hulu for channel surfing when I sit down for a few minutes and don't have anything specific in mind to watch. I'll catch myself watching Forged in Fire and think "Yeah, I can do that."

Disney+ - the Marvel stuff mainly

Apple - Ted Lasso

Netflix - lotta random stuff. Some good, some gawd awful. We started Manifest because I thought the premise was interesting. We're about 8 episodes in and I'm struggling to keep going.

We have the following currently:

Disney+ - for marvel and star wars shows. But this is probably going to be something we cancel every now and then to build up the inventory to binge.

Netflix - I've had this for a long time and will probably continue to do so. We watch the following: Beaky Blinders, The Witcher, Disentachment, and various comedy specials as they come up. I don't see us discontinuing this service.

HBO Max - This one surprises me. We subscribed to it during the pandemic to rewatch game of thrones, but ended up watching a lot of other stuff to. We have watched the Flight Attendent, Gilded age, Big Bang Theory, as well as various movies.

Amazon - we have this because we have Prime, but don't really watch anything on it.

Really, I get a lot of my television entertainment through Youtube. Not YoutubeTV, which we have, but will end once college bball is over I'll Cancel.

Can't figure out why they'd extend that offer but I'll happily take them up on it. When it's over I'll cancel and probably cycle in and out for a few months each year.

Never thought of that. I see it on audible, which I have but never use. :)

HBO is ridiculously loaded with great shows. I imagine D+ is great for kids but even as a Star Wars and Marvel comics nerd nothing remotely compares. Not only are a crazy % of original shows great, they almost always have best collection of classic movies.

I just watched In the Heat of the Night that I had never seen but always wanted to and currently waiting for new season of Barry, gonna try DMZ.

Prime saves me a ton of money because I live near a Whole Foods and because they use national prices it’s actually the cheap affordable grocery store in my neighborhood, so my prime membership saves me maybe $15-20 a month just as a grocery discount. I like prime’s content more than Netflix and Hulu so it’s pretty great for a free thing. Excited for new season of The Boys which outside of HBO Watchmen limited series is the best super hero show imo.

I have paramount+, peacock, Hulu, Netflix. Don't watch too much original shows from these networks. Peacock is for wwe network, Netflix is movies, older shows Netflix has acquired and stand up comedy specials.
