I get that, but I guess I looked at the question as what MOST or A LOT of people think, not a small number that allows for difference in taste. A very small number of people would not define those women (Kendrick, Wilde and Portman) as beautiful.

Surprisingly enough - I see plenty who don't think much of Natalie Portman. I'm dumbfounded as well. Probably the vocal minority or something. But I suppose I see it. Much like I'm extremely turned off by the Kardashian thing, some may be turned off by the brainy Portman.

Agree with Wilde - how one doesn't see her as drop dead is a mystery. But to each his own.

I'd say more the casting did. I think they purposely tried to ugly her up for the first couple of seasons because she was supposed to be the nerd while KK was supposed to be the pretty girl and Lisa Turlte was supposed to be the attractive, trendy one. I think they moved away from it when they realized it was ok to show her pretty side to explain why the hunky school jock was into her.

I'm with you on the first two. My wife doesn't get the deal with Brad Pitt either, which I actually find odd. I don't get jealous of much, but he's a good looking dude with a good physique. It also helps that he has been in some of my favorite movies.

I kind of wonder if us women can't see the physical past just being grossed out by the cheating? Although I never thought he looked that great before the Jolie thing. It sounds kind of cliche but I need to see some spark in the eyes and he just doesn't have it.
