I need a clarification. Is it processed cheese or processed cheese food? (still doesn't diminish the deliciousness of it in taco dip)
The fact that it doesn't need to be refrigerated at the grocers makes it a win-win for me.

Churcy potluck - Watergate salad, pies, more dips

You may or may not remember potlucks that included our family @Angie

We have always thought potlucks were the time when people threw whatever they had into a casserole dish and brought it. By and large it was 90% casseroles and maybe some fried chicken.

So we always just picked up a few pizzas and brought them and they were always the first thing gone. BRING FOOD PEOPLE LIKE NOT CRAP.

But we also brought like a dip or homemade cookies.

I do, at church! It was usually Casey's, if I remember? And it was AMAZING. Janny who has a coworker who usually brings egg rolls from the store, and it always reminds me of your family's pizza!

Cheesy potatoes with the corn flakes on top. Cheese/meat & cracker trays are also awesome.

My mom can cook and bake fairly well, but the one hole in her arsenal is pies. My dad's mom made great pies, so he kimd of missed that. But, there were a few older ladies at our small church that made wonderful pies...one lady's pecan pie was my dad's favorite. Church potlucks he always got two slices, one of them being always being this lady's pecan pie.

depending on the time of the year and who is making it chili or buffalo chicken dip are my favorites. Also BBQ meats if someone smoked them right and didn't go heavy on the sauce

Deviled eggs for the win. I always make sure to grab roughly 25 of them

Pickle wraps and deviled eggs have my vote.
It's a good thing I work from home full-time now, because these types of office events were so good, and so often. I ate way more than I should have at each..

It's processed cheese. And no, you don't want to know what that really means. ;)
Well technically it is a "pasteurized prepared cheese product" according to the US government which I'm sure means that whey is the closest thing to cheese in it.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not above eating it when used in the right dishes.

I make killer brandy old-fashioneds at our football get-togethers. Have made true believers out of many Iowans.
