So I work at UDCC, the dining center for Friley, Helser, Eaton, etc. I walk in to work today and all the fruit carts and fresh fruit were missing. I thought that was strange, so I asked a manager what was up.
Apparently management noticed a dramatic increase in fruit consumption. They had students ask around and this what they heard.
Word on the street is that students have been stockpiling tons of fruit and are planning on throwing it at Nebraska fans this Saturday. Which is why management has pulled fresh fruit from all the dining centers, or at least UDCC.
