Anyone start watching this? I’m two episodes in, and it’s okay, not as good as I was hoping for, but still decent.

It sure makes Brooks Koepka look bad IMO, which isn’t too surprising. After watching the 2nd episode, I can see why he joined the LIV Tour. I don’t think he was very confident he could compete in the PGA Tour anymore for championships.

I'm one episode in. I completely agree with your assessment. It won't be as successful as Drive to Survive, but I appreciate the behind the scenes look at things.

Watched the first one last night, it was interesting, I will keep watching. But I am a huge golf nerd, my wife got bored of it pretty quickly.

I'm through a few episodes. I think it's pretty good. Kind of neat to get a feel for the real personality of these players.

We actually just started it yesterday at our house. I was expecting more behind the scenes at actual tournaments opposed to dedicating episodes to a specific golfer. I would rate it "ok" through 3 episodes so far.

As someone who never watches sports stuff on Netflix, this was the top highlighted thing in my feed when it came out. I immediately hit dislike/don't recommend without even letting the auto preview run for more than 5 seconds.

I would be hard press to find something I care about less than pro golf, let alone behind the scenes pro golf, lol.

It was really weird seeing this thing pop out of nowhere and get so much promotion

I am through a few episodes. So far, the Joel Dahmen episode is the best to me. As it is a guy that isn't the top and gives you a look at the caddy life too.

Ian Poulter's was pretty interesting to.

Overall, it isn't as good as "Drive to Survive" for me, but it is still fun to watch. Other than Bryson and Patrick Reed golfers are pretty much all buddies just out to beat each other. It isn't like F1 where you have guys that truly don't like each other. Golf is really the golfer vs the golf course vs their own brain. Which doesn't give a lot of documentary drama other sports do. But it a neat look behind the curtain.

Good thing you commented on it then. Really appreciate the insight…

I also immediately give a thumbs down to anything I may not like. I also yell at kids across the street quite a bit.

Thought it was very good first 5 episodes, was thinking how cool it was they filmed enough to have footage going chronologically with winners and other story lines. Was disappointed when they went backwards to focus on individuals in later episodes even though very compelling threw thing off.

Just finished it. The last episode is worth a watch if you haven't gotten that far. The second half is all about the time where Tiger and Rory were really getting outspoken in the PGA vs LIV stuff. And you also get Rory laughing at Patrick Reed dropping spots and giving the camera a "**** you Phil".

I have a couple episodes left and I guess I don't know why I expected more but it's been pretty disappointing as someone who loves Drive to Survive. It might be because I've followed so closely that not much is new. The Brooks episode was pretty interesting as it's really the first time all the bravado has been cut through and you see that he was a guy who likely made his decision out of the fear that it's never coming back.

I'm not the target audience here. I was the exact target audience for Drive to Survive as someone who wasn't following F1 but through that show became very interested in F1. Of course, racecar drivers are much more entertaining than golfers so that helps.

It was ok. I was hoping for more of the relationship between players, but it was still entertaining. Don't really get much that you couldn't get in a traditional interview setting.

My likeability ranking on those featured:

1) Finau
2) Theegala
3) Fitzy
4) Scheffler
5) Rory
6) DJ
7/8) JT and Spieth tied because they may be the same person
9) Dahmen
10) Mito
11) Poulter
12) Brooks

Mildly interesting, yet leaving me wanting a lot more. I’ll finish it and be disappointed. Maybe that’s on me, either way… something that was new, but could have been a lot more.

Dahmen is what I aspire to. Just get paid a lot to play golf without becoming as psychotic as those guys have to get to have a chance at #1.
