Texas won in OT at Temple in a fashion that was reminiscent of a lot of our losses last year. Temple had the ball with under 10 seconds left, was fouled. Came to the line up by 1 point with 2 free throws. Temple player makes the first and makes the second, but on the second shot he crosses the foul line. The shooter thought it was going to be short, but since he crossed the line early the 2nd FT is disallowed. Texas then drives up court, hits a 3 and a Temple shot at the buzzer is no good.
Michigan obviously pounded a poor team at home.
BYU is presently down by about 10 to a tough UMASS team. Would be great for BYU to fight back and win this one. They could really use a signature win now in the non-con.
KU is on the road at one of our former conference foes - In boulder today. Interesting matchup, as Colorado is doing well, and maybe the altitude and the next opponent for the Jayhawks (Florida) will serve as a distraction and allow Colorado to stick around in this one. Doubtful, but who knows?
