FYI: since my phone (Moto G 5G) doesn't have NFC, I can't use the "tap" entry method. I did load the tix to Google Wallet and emailed the Ticket Office a screenshot of the (static) barcode that displays there. They replied that would scan, which counters their warning that screenshots (which is essentially what my Wallet contents are) won't work.
I do plan to have my Cyclone app open before arrival. It does refresh the barcodes every 15 seconds, even in Airplane Mode.

If you have them in Google Wallet that barcode isn't static.
The Google wallet works differently than a screenshot. Your phone without NFC will work.
You're correct. I viewed mine for a minute , focusing on the right side, which didn't seem to change even when the barcode "flashed". Looking in the middle, I see it does change. Thanks.
We thought we had this all figured out. DH went to add his ticket to wallet and couldn’t. I tried removing it/them from mine, all he gets is that it’s happening but it doesn’t. I even deleted the ISU app and reinstalled it, nothing changed on his end even when I had no tickets in my wallet.
Note: we are not on Verizon.
EDIT: for both mens and womens Big 12 tournaments, both of us were able to access both of our tickets. What is up Ticketmaster? Rhetorical question, I know.

Does anyone know if we will be able to tap with NFC versus scanning the barcode as shown in John's video?
He literally showed tapping his phone in the first 30 seconds.

What are you clicking within your Google Wallet to view the tickets? There are a couple different ways to get to them, and if you're accessing through the wallet/not thru the TicketMaster link within the wallet, it should work on Airplane Mode. Just did it myself & had no issues.
Google Wallet works fine on airplane mode. Someone else was saying the Cyclones app tickets would work in airplane mode. Not so much.

Just wanted to make sure & reiterate for those that don't know - there is a ticketmaster link towards the bottom of the Google Wallet homepage, using that will just take you to their website which will struggle at a packed Jack Trice (made that mistake my first time using the wallet). As long as you use the actual wallet/Tap to Pay button, no internet required.
No issues getting tickets into Apple wallet on 2 phones and also transferring tickets to 2 other people. Was same process as last year. Only difference I see is that the game tickets say hold near reader.

Has anyone encountered issues with using your ISU app username and password as the sign in for Ticketmaster?
Keep getting this error message in the ISU in trying to access the tickets that we’re sent to me.

Yes, I’m in app and in the spot Ticketmaster is saying you can use same user name and password. I get the error message every time attempting to log in
