Jami Dekker's was also in Pott Co., FWIW.Interesting County to have a search warrant in? I am guessing this doesn't relate to Gambling.

AND, of course, he KNEW that. That fact doesn't make him the Devil, but it isn't a shining example of great leadership, either, assuming that he engaged in sports betting.Deceitful? Lol
You guys are dramatizing this way too much. 90% of the men I know age 21-40 are gambling on sports. If by "ringleader", you mean he was putting bets in on his account or influencing his teammates, sure. It's not really that dramatic though.
I agree that I don't love Dekkers' demeanor, but it's just sports gambling. It's widely accepted. Unfortunately it's against NCAA rules.
I don't see anything with that name on Iowa Courts?Jami Dekker's was also in Pott Co., FWIW.
I don't see anything with that name on Iowa Courts?
I don't think you guys understand how search warrants work. If they were searching a phone or house, it would be the county where the defendant was living/lived. Why would there be a search warrant on a Casino? and if there was a search warrant on the casino, it would not have the defendants name on it.
Records like that just don't disappear...It was there a few week's ago
Not any more.I don't see anything with that name on Iowa Courts?
I'm pretty positive CloneLawman knows how this stuff works
The court records don't disappear, but the security level on them could be increased.Records like that just don't disappear...
Well then someone needs to FOIA their ass.The court records don't disappear, but the security level on them could be increased.
No one had posted a warrant application or a warrant. The record that was displaying was a reference to Jami Dekkers as an interested party in a search warrant file that was opened in Pott.I don't think you guys understand how search warrants work. The records will likely eventually become public. However, it isn't uncommon for them to be sealed during the investigatory phase. FOIA doesn't unseal sealed warrant applications or other records.Well then someone needs to FOIA their ass.
Don't worry. I clearly don't know how anything works.Don't ruin this for us.
Fair, but the Governor isn't involved in the prosecution. Some Iowa officials take FOIA seriously. Spot on re investigation. This is Iowa. We view FOIA as more of like a guideline than a law.
Plus in this stage of the investigation, not hahappenig9
What Larry Curtis, the OTHER Ames Mayor used to say..."SUE THE BASTARDS!"Thank you @CloneLawman for the clarity. Now I have been having problems with my breathing and have been exposed to mesothelioma. Any advice?
