I had G7 lot for the first time last year and got shut out for KU game. Changed to G6 this year. Is G6 also considered a grass lot, or is there gravel there?

Tailgate rookie here with a G7 pass, what happens to those with these passes? Are we SOL and have to scramble to find a public spot?

They will close public pavement lots and park G7 people there. If i remember correctly.

Parking and rain might dampen my half a plan to maybe roadtrip through Ames Saturday on way home and catch the game. Unless I can maybe hookup with some friends before that have parking and ride in with them.

Unless it is designated by ISU, the KMart lot is now towing cars (At least they started doing it last season.) I think some tailgated there and must have let a mess behind.

Nope it's all closed to tailgating.
















For those that have not picked up on this by now that is where we usually park. It is free, they have never told us to not tailgate there and it is a tad quicker to get out although this is a highly debated fact in our family. I also know people that park at the horse barns.

I've tailgated in the parking ramp by Gerdin. It's not great, but it works when the grass lots are closed.
