I have no interest in reading how much he thinks god loves him.:rolleyes:

I hope people are supporting the NCC or CGC with the same vitriol that they feel they need to bring to this.

Here's an idea - if you feel the need to keep the hate flowing rather than just let this go, why don't you donate the price of the book (or hell, even just $5.19) to the NCC or CGC and put your money where your mouth is?

Not that I would ever advocate book burning, but this might be the lone exemption :jimlad:

Seriously, there's no chance I would buy this book & read it, but if I found it at the library, I might pick it up for a good laugh.

And for the Chizzlestick all I have to say is the Bob Evans' immortal quote: "There are three sides to every story. Your side, my side, and the truth."

Gene's account of leaving ISU is bull**** anyway. His departure was predetermined and coincided with Bobby Lowder's removal of Tuberville.

Do you think Gene's going to put in his book, "I knew that the boosters would buy Cam Newton out from under Miss St."

*or*

"Since my time at ISU was temporary I decided to help my old redneck fishin' buddies bilk ISU for hundreds of thousands of dollars."

The book is no doubt just a bunch of ego stroking fantasy with some "I have to thank God" peppered in.

**** Gene, thankfully we have a real coach now.

If I find a copy laying around I may keep it with my drawer of toilet paper but other than that I have no plans for said book.

Exactly. Furthermore, many good people claim the same faith as mentioned by GC and are extremely ashamed at his behavior. He IS NOT a man of integrity or someone to be emulated . . whether by people of faith or by others. His book is just another example of a shallow, immature, narcissistic mindset . . . some day, GOD will sort all this out. Ol Gene might be surprised about HIS book review.

CGC = Coach Gene Chizik??

Glad you started a new thread. The existing thread on the same topic was not sufficiently serving my Gene Chizik book discussion needs.
