getting rid of old CRT TVs

The Best buy in Ames took my 32 inch trinitron in Oct.

Definitely give Best Buy a call.

They will take just about any used electronics.

I replaced the PCB board in my washer and they took the old one even though I did not buy it from them.

For hard to dispose of items like this, one option is to go to local grocery store and place the item in a shopping cart in one of the racks in the parking lot. The store will likely have more resources to dispose of it than you would.

My local Goodwill takes them. Good thing too, as I had to offload about 4 of them a few months ago. Need to offload a few more this weekend.
