I know Mark Few was watching Gibbs this weekend
Gonzaga is not in Washington, D.C. It is in the state of Washington, on the west cost. Seriously people.

I think we need to sit Gibbs down with Alex Thompson. Maybe he can talk him into making the right decision right off the bat instead of waiting 3 years before he gets to play for the right team!
PsychedClone or goldmember, what are you guys hearing?
If Mark Few hits the high road for a big school and his replacement is a dud--that could be a real possibility! Send in the reinforcements, I vote for Freddy on what it meant for him to be a cyclone, and let's get him now!

Question for Mods: A number of posts on this board seem to make direct pleas to Grant to attend ISU, and it seems like everyone for miles around is pressuring the kid. Are you not skittish about the possibility that what is said here might land the school in trouble with NCAA compliance officers? The mods on GUBoards.com run a pretty sharp pencil in deleting or editing any thread they think might raise recruiting violation issues applicable to boosters, especially direct appeals addressed to a PSA.
NCAA Bylaws - Select "Recruiting" from the Article # dropdown list.
To start this is IMO only, not CF. I understand if a booster calls or initiates contact with a recruit that is a violation, i.e. posts on the recruits personal website. This is a site that the recruit would have to find and read on their own. If this is a violation, all college based message boards would have to be shut down, including yours. Everyone that posts anything about their favorite University could be seen as pointing out the qualities of said University.Question for Mods: A number of posts on this board seem to make direct pleas to Grant to attend ISU, and it seems like everyone for miles around is pressuring the kid. He might be a stud, but he is a guard and we need post help more so than guard help. We already have Buckley and Eikmeier coming in, I just don't see where he really fits in over time, Garrett and Brister will have four years, Boozer will have four or five, Peterson will have two, Haluska will have two, than you add in Buckley and Eikmeier, we need post help more than we need Gibbs, you want the big Iowa guys, but he might have a tough time finding playing time.
Thanks for the answer. Makes sense. However, the GUBoard mods are super sensitive about any posts which are addressed directly to the recruit. We can and do talk about the recruit ad infinitum and list a hundred reasons he should choose GU, but direct appeals, as if the recruit were the only reader, most often will be edited or deleted by a Mod. They're probably too cautious, but reading here was a bit of a culture shock, since the rules are so different.
