Not a tax accountant, but hey I worked all but 8 hours a day for 4 months up to 3 weeks ago moving two accounting departments for my company to West Des Moines, so I know a thing or two about dedication.

I am calling BS that you worked 16 hours a day for 4 months. Thanks for letting us all know how dedicated you are.

Admittedly I have only read the first half of this thread, but some of you must be some of the most facking ridiculous people on planet earth or maybe even planet zoltron if that is where you reside. Seriously, the program has sucked for the past 4 years, you know who is more ****** about that than any of you? I'll give you a hint...he's tall and coaches at ISU. Take a mother effing chill pill and walk away if you don't have the mental capacity to figure any of this out I don't think you could possibly add anything of value to CF. I'd recommend you start posting with your real name while throwing all of these darts based 98% off of assumptions and guesswork.

Go watch a freaking movie or go to freaking Dairy Queen for a couple hours because you are talking out of your *** if you think this is even the slightest bit of a big deal. I hear around Christmas time that Greg had a 2 hour Christmas with his family, should he have approved that with some of you first? Get a freaking grip.

You know how to tell it's a slow friday night?? When there are over 200 posts about McD attending a pep rally and sweet 16 game for UNI. Really don't think it's a big deal, heck if anything it may help him realize what he is missing out on and do some further self-examination. Sometimes the best way to improve is to step out of your current situation and get some perspective vs. being wrapped up in it all and not identifying the underlying issues.

Do you really question his loyalty? I'm guessing he wants to win more than anyone on this board.

I honestly don't believe that he does. He's got a huge buyout and a nice contract. It doesn't really matter whether he wins on not, he's still going to get paid. Prime recruiting time and an assistant hire that needs to be made, yet he's down in StL rooting on the Pantherz. To me, that's ridiculous.

From what I understand this is a non-contact period.

You think you want to win more than him. Bold statement. I admire the onions. No matter how misguided.

Yes, I think many here actually do. I know that may sound silly, but we are paying the guy over $800,000 a year at ISU, and I have yet to see anywhere near the passion I saw when he was coaching UNI. I have yet to see him show the anger he showed at UNI directed towards I believe Jared Homan because ISU was way down and Homan was still playing hard-nosed basketball. I vividly remember seeing McDermott send some choice words in Wayne Morgan's direction. I have not seen that passion once as ISU's coach.

OK, well that's a good point about the non-contact period. But coaches can still email and have players call them. I guess I don't care that he's down there for the day, but if he's there through Sunday, that's an issue to me. IMO, he needs to be around the players on a daily basis to make sure no one else is leaving.

And yes, I believe that I, as well as many people here, want success for ISU more than GMac does. It means more to us and IMO GMac's legacy is sealed and he's playing out the string for the most part.

let's ask KG since he is sitting with coach right now and monitoring CF on his phone. Is coach staying there thru Sunday? :dull:

My guess is he has a cellular telephone.
