I think ISU has a chance to do better or worse than that, depending on what they do in the Big 12 tournament. If they can get into the championship game they may get to a 5, if they loose the first game they may drop to an 9.

I think ISU is an 8 seed right now...beat Texas and move up to a 7 seed...beat Missouri and move up to a 6 seed, maybe 5, win Big 12 tourney and ISU is a 4 seed.

I still don't understand this seeding. we are third in a conference where the other top teams are ranked. but if the tournament were to start today the best we can do is a 7.
