Alex Henery is also a good kicker because he is an alumni of the Midwest Kicking Camps, but hey, that's a biased statement on my part.
And percentages tell a lot. Mainly, they tell if a kicker is reliable or not.
As previously stated, the balls being set up on the tees for kickoffs didn't get blown over even once tonight.
That says then, that this kicker is not reliable from beyond 50.So if a guy is 10/10 inside 50 and 0/5 outside 50, he's a crappy kicker because he only hits 67% of the time? Percentage made doesn't tell you ****.
That says then, that this kicker is not reliable from beyond 50.
No, 67% of the time says he's shaky. You can't look at the percentages above and tell me what distance those kicks were from. You just see he's 47%/68%/65%.
2010:
0-19: 0-0
20-29: 1-2
30-39: 3-4
40-49: 3-6
50+: 1-5
By the way, Mahoney was 3-5 from 50+ a year ago.
You guys realize it was windy as hell tonight, right? Nobody is more frustrated than Grant I'm sure, and he is giving it his all. You must have forgotten that monster kick in the first half against Nebraska already huh?
One for three. His problem is none of kicks seem to go down the middle. They are always close to one side. You guys realize it was windy as hell tonight, right?
