Explain how this is bad advice. Unless you want layered hair, or some fancy haircut, using your own clippers is the only way to go.

If anyone likes to style there hair, cutting your own is not easy. More like extremely difficult. If you buzz cut your hair then buying a clippers is the best way to go.

I wish I was.

You really are. Unless you want some fantastical cut, you could do it yourself. With enough practice at it, you could get your own stylized cut. However, apparently you're correct and everyone that is a DIY hair-cutter for years doesn't know what they are talking about.

And that, sir, is the glory of message boards. Even if we know nothing, we're experts. Even if there's an expert present, we know more. :jimlad:

I paid $20 for a crappy hair cut about 3 years ago, and realized I can get a crappy haircut from my wife for free (after the cost of the clippers). First few had to have a little touchup, and one oops along the way, but I now get a fine haircut for free. Although, yes, one length, and clippers, but I'm a simple hair guy.

Is All Cuts still on Lincolnway across from Friley? Ray cut my hair all the time in school. My wife does now. Short on top, shorter on the sides, blend it in.

The wife cuts my hair and has for 4 years now. I cant justify paying 15 bucks or more for a simple haircut. She has gotten pretty good over the years.

Does it come with the gratuitous 'nape beard'? mounds of hair growing on your neck?

you can always tell when guys scrimp on haircuts and get it cut by a family member:twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy:

A guy named Troy is taking over Monte's shop. Monte vouched for him, so I'll definitely give him a shot.

Troy ran a barbershop in Story City. He's fantastic and it was widely known that Monty's was the only opportunity that would pull him away from his shop on Broad St.

Give him a shot, he is very proud to continue the tradition.

‎Great people. JP goes there too!!

Pollard doesn't go to Monty's? I thought the entire athletic department went there. I never failed to see a coach or a couple players no matter when I came in.

Lies. My brothers have gotten their hair cut by my mom for 20 years. She was taught how to cut their hair by a hairdresser, and their hair always looks good.

That's what I thought too. I sat there BS'ing with Coach McCarney on a summer day for almost an hour. Super, super nice guy.

What a arrogant comment. You don't know what kind of haircut I get. Yea, if I just shaved my head it would be easy, but I get a haircut that works for me. I never said half of the **** you said I did. It doesn't work for me, if it works for you great. I am correct and I'm not going to say I'm not when clearly a DIY haircut doesn't work for me. Way to try to start **** for no reason. Pathetic.

Does that make sense cloneswereall? Is that clear? Understand?
